hey fitted these components with crossovers the other day and they sound **** cost like 120 quid new have a prity good alpine headunit do i need to amp these there is no base they bottom out the min you turn the volume up ?? cheers

 

No doubt that you got the +ve and -ve wires wired up right.

From my experience those sort of component sets are best amp'd up.

 

Agree - amp them up, make sure you mount them properly and if possible sound deaden the doors.

 

yea lol got them wired up right must just need an amp can anyone recomend a decent amp for these speekers ?? cheers
