Couple of Questions DNX-7200
Ordered my 7200 today.
A couple of questions......
Where should I put the satalite reciever?
How do I get the door pillar trim off to fit the mic for the BT100?
Can't wait to get it fitted.
Cheers.
Dave.

Where to locate the BT100 bluetooth unit
Hopefully my DNX-7200 and bluetooth unit should arrive tomorrow.
I quickly today removed the current radio and there's not a lot of room behind it!
Where have you guys located the BT100 unit?
Cheers
Dave

great set the 7200 with BT,
anyone using the nokia n95 with this? had no end of bother with one on a mates.
and new kenwood screens en route for this year are to be special, BT kits are in conjunction with parrot, and the good news, they are also backwards compatible for those of us with 7200`s and the like

Fitted!
Well got the units fitted earlier this week. It was really easy to strip out the surround for the double din unit and the bottom of the dash in the car.
Located the USB cable and the BT100 in the glovebox all neatly velcro'd to the top. Just drilled one hole in the top of the glovebox to run the cables in but it can't be seen.
All in all took about 2 hrs from start to finish. Absolute doddle!
As for the 7200 itself, fantastic. I've just plugged in a 4 GB USB stick with my music on and despite stories of it taking minutes to read the entire pen drive mine takes about 20secs to read 4GB of music. (It's a kingston USB stick if that makes a difference!)
The nav and bluetooth are just fab. I've also got Speed cameras on there and all the KFC's for when I'm out and about.
Would definately recommend and if you are remotely good at removing bit from your car its really easy to fit.

Granby,
No doubt it will get a bit annoying especially going up the motorway but it's easy to turn off the bongs.
Bloody hell I can't tell the missus that I need another gizmo to detect speed cameras especially as I want some new wheels and window tints now.
What mis life crisis?
Dave.

WWP8,
I've subscribed to the speed camera database on pocketGPSworld.com for £19.00 per year. Just down load the database, stick the data on a SD card using the free garmin poi loader and stick it in the front of the unit. It then installs it's self.
Can also download many other points of interest (POI's).

About 2 miles away in Lee Green (behind the Sainsbury's for those who know), in Eltham all the time picking up missed parcels, seem to spend most Saturday mornings in the queue at your post office picking up Subaru/Stereo/Girlfriends mysterious ebay parcels
