Default Subwoofer for wagon installation

any tips on a subwoofer to go in by my99 wagon? limiting factor is that the rear passenger seats are often down with the back filled with kite and windsurfing kit which 1. can be wet and sandy wet and sandy and 2. is likely to cover any vents and grills on anything bolted to the back of the rear passenger seats.

advised that i won't be able to hear the compact under seat subs in a T2000 and that was before i'd mentioned the decat exhaust sytem...

grateful for any advice

i looked at the sleathboxz option and after reading a few threads on here about building your own from fibreglass and mdf, i took the plunge and did it myself.
mine is fibreglass/mdf, sealed and sized for an infinity perfect 10, with additional power socket in the side so i can charge battery from solar panel on the parcel shelf. i also added switches so i could isolate the power socket and the amp individually. power to the box is via screw down terminals on the foremost end. it's easily removeable (30 sec job) and sits in the corner very happily

Hi mate

I've got a 98 wagon, Alpine SWD 1600 underseat sub. Prodrive exhaust so bit quieter than a decat, but still have no probs hearing my sound system with sunroof open, windows down etc. Mind you, if you like your kidneys to move with your bass, look elsewhere! That is a nice looking piece of kit richardg has tho.
