MP3 headunit keeps jumping
Tried making up CD's from 128 bit rate to 320 but seems to make no difference.
Its a single cd headunit kenwood W7027. When playing a track it pauses, increments the track number, then plays for another 10 seconds, pauses and does it again repetitively.
Is there something wrong with the CD's, or the headunit - its only 2 months old from Halfords. Plays normal CD's no problem - just doesnt like MP3's or WMA for some reason??
Doing my head in.

Hi Guys - cheers for the response.
I used memorex CDR's. My CD burner is a top of the range one fitted to Dell 8400 - so it really should be pretty good. I'll take your advice and slow the beast down and see if it makes a difference
Halfords should be ok with a return - worst case scenario. Getting it out is pretty easy.
Thanks,
Marky

No definately not in preview mode - it can play a few songs before it starts - or can do it straight away.
Tried a slower burned CD and still the same - so next stop Halfords for their thoughts.
cheers guys,
marky
