Question 60.5cs worth extra £60 or 6000cs?

Just got a new Alpine unit 9228RB and need new front speakers. I have searched other threads and looks like one of these will be best.

I am into indie\rock music so not too bothered about extra bass just want good quality. I have a MY00 classic.

I have been to halfords and was really impressed with the 6000cs compared with other speakers of the same size but they did not have any 60.5cs to listen too.

Is it worth the extra cash and as the 60.5cs are 3mm deeper will they also fit as standard without any mods?

I'm looking at using mail order CarAudioSecurity to purchase

Cheers

Steve

I used to run a pair of Infinity Perfect 5.1 in my BMW i just to own ages ago..

Not so loud though quality was great...I was actually thinking of going for the Perfect 6-1, though not sure if they would fit due to the depth..

Have a look here m8,

the 6000cs's are real nice.
The deeper 60.5s's will have 2mm clearance, abit tight.

Oh and you will need mdf spacers for both 6000cs and 60.5s
I don't know of any decent drivers that fit without.

edited to add that the 6000cs are about as shallow as you can get in that size driver.

Just had the Infintiy 6000's put in my 53 WRX and they sound mint! Got them from caraudiosecurity for less than £70 along with an Infinty Bass link (£130) however it's not fitted yet!

Quality service & quick delivery! (no i don't work for them!)
