Spent allday fitting the drivers side door with CS6500 speakers. Used the advise from various sites making a 12mm MDF spacer and lined the speaker opening with Dynomat. Problem is, when I lower the window there in a plastic not with a screw thread located on the bottom of the window thats hitting the rear of the speaker. Has anyone come across this before? Is it possible to move the woofer out any further?
While I'm on the subject! Does anyone know an easy way to thread speaker cable through the rubber sleeve between the door and A pillar?
