I need to remove the plastic tray below my head unit MY02sti how do i get to it??

does the silver plastic trim need to come off?

i can't seem to see a way (without snapping several bits) to get into it.

head unit was dealer fitted into top din slot i'm putting a blitz r-vit into the bottom but need access to run wiring

help would be much appreciated
