*HOW* - Upgrade Front Speaker Cable?

I followed the existing wiring loom and used the grommets in the door. I used a small piece of coat hanger to pierce the grommet. I was very careful not to damage any exiting wires and paintwork.
I then used some washing-up liquid to make it much easier to push through the wire. I found it easier to go into the door, rather than starting at the speaker and trying to run the wires back into the car.
I've got a couple of pics on my website that may (or may not) help.

I gave up and ended up running outside the grommet. Loom 'em up, and make sure that you've sealed both ends well.
Washing up liquid or better still Silicone grease helps if you're determined to ram 'em in there. Oo er.

Best thing for fishing wires is the inside of an old speedo cable
I recently pulled better wiring for my tweeters and speakers through the original rubber piping (you know what I mean ) using one of these I swear by them, they are rigid and flexible enough to push through most things and all you need to do is secure your wires to one end with insulating tape and pull
