I've got a MY00 and need to upgrade the bell wire to the front door speakers....Would like some instructions on the best way of getting the cable into door.

Pls help.

 

I followed the existing wiring loom and used the grommets in the door. I used a small piece of coat hanger to pierce the grommet. I was very careful not to damage any exiting wires and paintwork.

I then used some washing-up liquid to make it much easier to push through the wire. I found it easier to go into the door, rather than starting at the speaker and trying to run the wires back into the car.

I gave up and ended up running outside the grommet. Loom 'em up, and make sure that you've sealed both ends well.

Washing up liquid or better still Silicone grease helps if you're determined to ram 'em in there. Oo er.
