BAH

Great pics. I am looking at the Infinity's now. How did you fit the tweeter to the bracket and how did you secure the Xover?

Cheers

The tweeters comes with several different ways to mount i just used one of the plastic pods which screws to the origonal bracket, then the tweeter clips into the pod.

The X-over is screwed to the door.

I got my Infinity 6000cs fitted in my 03 wrx today, I only needed to use 4mm mdf and the o ring that comes with the speakers..

They sound lovely with the new head unit in aswell..
But make sure you cover the plastic doorskin with duck tape as it vibrates with the bass

Did anyone manage to fit the Infinity 6500cs speakers to an MY02 (WRX STi7), front doors? My local ICE dealer has tried, but there seems to be too little depth on the MY02. Putting a spacer in causes the speaker to foul on the door grille. Shame. Nice speakers.

Vertew

I've fitted the 6000CS, they have a 53mm depth. I used 12 mm MDF. Can't remember the depth of the 6500s but there is still a bit of room behind mine!!

Nigeyboy

The mounting depth on the 6500cs's is 62mm ... good idea, I'll try the 6000cs.

Thanks for responding,
Cheers, Andrew.

These are the ones then. Particularly nice with the component tweeters that fit into the door blanks.

Cheers.

Cool

BAH

Thanks for the pics, just about to fit the same speakers in my STi7 PPP, so they are a great help.
