Have a quick search to get more details, but in short:
- DVD playback will be region 1 only. We're on region 2 here so your discs won't play unless you can get the unit "chipped".
- RDS doesn't work at all (no AF, no TI, no radio text, ...)
- You'll not be able to receive all stations as the US has .2MHz increments, we use .1MHz.
- Any aux video input will want an NTSC source. UK/EU stuff outputs PAL
It may be considerably cheaper, but remember to shipping, duty at 4%, VAT at 17.5%, "clearance fee" from parcelfarce or others (between 4 and 14 quid) and you find it all of a sudden isn't that cheap.
Cheers,
Nick.
