I see Halfords are knocking 33% off this head unit..reduced to £99.99!
Anyone got a view on the quality of this unit compared to the standard fitted (STi8)

My own preference would be to spend more to get a real upgrade. It will be better (it can't be worse), but to be honest I'd rather put something in that is a definite upgrade and I reckon you'll be upgrading again in the future.

Spend the money once on a head unit; get it right first time, IMHO.

Yep that was kinda my thinking...but there again if a 'bargain' is to be found....
Conversley...you get what you pay for!
