All
I have a DVD player in my Scooby and it is from the Land of the Rising Sun. Does anyone know how I can get this converted or whats a good cheap DVD player to buy for it. I gave up on the TV coversion months ago, but a DVD player would keep the kid's quiet on long runs. The current kit is Panasonic DV2000 Sat Nav / DVD / TV by the way.

Cheers mate ring you later. Just want to either convert my existing DVD player to play UK DVD's ( Area 3 ?. ) or buy new DVD player for my setup.
The TV bit would be nice, ariels and receiver in place, but Jap spec NTSC I think.

I'm on 07789 655879

IT'S DEFINATELY EASIER TO GO FOR A MULTI REGION NEW DVD AS THE COST OF CONVERTING A JAP ONE CAN GET QUITE SILLY.
ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT YOUR AFTER PRICES ARE USUALLY FROM £300 UPWARDS FOR DVD AND £300 UPWARDS FOR SCREENS!

ALL DVD'S ARE NTSC.

For an excellent set up your looking at around £3900 but there is leeway on price either way depending on quality!

that would be for everything you asked including uprating all the speakers and ps2.

The best thing is probably to arrange to come down, see some set ups and gear yourself and you can get a million different prices !

Like i said it can be much cheaper than that and it can be more!
Depends on how you wanna go!

you able to get to cardiff some time soon?

live in bedfordshire so Cardiff is a bit of a trek.....might wait until the new beast arrives and pop down.....Need to run her in anyway.....

For £3900 what make & components does that include?
a bit too much but you never know just selling my house at the moment so depending on how much I get for it could justify the xtra spend.

if you wanna discuss it in more detail give waz a ring on 02920 383 698

tell him kristian(me) the footballer with the subaru told you to ring him and he'll give you a break down of everything and tell you absolutely anything you need to know!

I know for a fact though if you went down and seen his bmw you'd spend even more than £3900 there and then! it's pure quality!

hope this helped!

The price quoted sounds excellent.. A friend of mine had the motorised screen unit, with DVD & CD changer fitted to his Mercs Sports SL, and thats cost him just over £2k.... they took 2 days to fit, plus another half day to finish off the job as they covered up his sim card unit for his fitted phone in the car... He was please with the setup, but annoyed that they left him to it, and didn'y spend anytime showing him how the unit worked.. He pruchased an Alpine unit... not the touch screen..

OJ...
