I'm looking at getting some decent high quality Ice installed into my car but before I do this I want to dynamat the doors and boot space, however I don't want to pay £30-£40 per hour labour to car hi-fi shops as I know it is a time consuming job. I can't do it muself as I tried it once and made a right mess. I'm based in the midlands so if anyone know of anybody who is a dab hander at this sort of stuff then I'd be grateful if they could get in touch.

I'm in Yorkshire, not toooooo far from Derbyshire.

However, it isn't that hard providing you get the dynamat nice and warm to work with, and clean all the existing crap off the metal that you're sticking it to...

Nick.

Got an even madder suggestion! I actually did this and it worked a treat... Put your oven on as low as it will go! when its at temp pop the pieces in for a minute, trust me they get nice and warm and stick very easily!

Dead easy to fit dynamat yourself, only need an afternoon to do the lot.

As mentioned, I'll help out as will Mr Wallis. It'll take an afternoon, and the sense of achievement will be massive

Suspect trans-atlantic shipping may make that a little bit expensive for us

Another option is to contact Noisekiller, who are members of Scoobyshop and so will give you further discount if you're a plus member...

Thanks all for the help, especially the guys who offered to help me fit it... I might be selling the EVO6 so the system install is on hold for the time being. Once again, thanks
