Have a 328i coupe fitted with a Sony headunit and 10 cd in the boot. Speakers are standard BMW, all quite old now... Want to get installed a new colourful headunit + system, and probably speakers.
As I know nothing about ICE I went out to check what to get and who could install but got no where. Apart from being busy everywhere nobody would give advice or try and sell me a complete package.
Anybody know a decent centre near Bracknell, Berks who can help me?

Really, I'm not following you.....
I did a lot of work on my 323 Coupe, and I'm just about to do it all again. But louder
Head unit is a doddle, probably all you need is a BMW-ISO adaptor to connect the new headunit to the existing loom.
Speakers are 5¼" in the front, although you can squeeze 6" in there (oo-err) with a little bit of cutting - that's what I did. IIRC the rears are smaller, but you're better off junking them and putting in some subs. If you want to go that route, email me, as I've got a pair of JL 10IB4 subs to sell, c/w baffles for an E36 Coupé. They're free-air, so they take up *no* boot space at all.
There's usually some photos of my old install here, but the site seems to be down at the moment ! Any other questions, give me a shout.
Cheers,
Steve.

Scoobysnacks - you could do a lot worse than pop in and see Paul (short one) at Ian Bannings in Guildford. He'll give you some no-nonsense advice. Bought all my gear (various cars) over the years from him.

Had an E36 M3, and got John Kleis in Reading to do a complete install in it, put in new components up front, 6x9s with adapter brackets into rear shelf, 2 amps and a JL sub, quality install which proved problematic due to the OEM BMW install.
Send me a mail if you want to know the details

ScoobySnack,
Go and see Richard at Berkshire car sounds in Reading, only a few miles from Bracknell. He has done installs in 4 cars for me including a 5 series and a scooby with 3x10" subs in the boot. Tell him "Av" sent you and he should look after you. Good luck
