Default Audio Upgrade

Anyone here upgraded there audio?.

Currently I have this **** pioneer head unit.. that only seems to be powering the front speaker...

So I am thinking..

6.5" components for the fronts
4" for the rear
10" sub

5 Channel Amp

Any thoughts on brands etc...as I wanted good power and quality sound.

Depends how much money you want to spend.
I really wouldn't both with the rears. Waste of time. Just increase volume but add nothing to quality.

3 most important things if you want it to sound good, rather than just loud:

1: Head Unit or DSP that has decent manual time alignment capability and probably ability to run 3-way active (may also need to consider multiple amps)
2: Install
3: Install

You can save a lot of money buying second hand. The only thing I bought new was my HU. 5 speakers & 3 amps all second hand. Would have probably cost me 3 times as much new.
