Question

Hi All

Can anyone recommend a source (either rent or buy - would prefer to rent!) for a big 12V PSU (~90A) which I can use to power my demo car from the mains at M*xP*wer Live?

Cheers

Lee.

I dont think youll find anything easilyt at 90A you'll probably need to get a couple and run in parallel..??

Speak to someone like Geoff Dutch at BBG, or someone seriously into competing... theres a shop in sheffield that build spl cars... do a search on yell for car audio - sheffield..

Lee,

Speak to Max at Maximum Impact, as he's rigged something that can power his 1.5kW amp quite happily on a stand. I think it involves a high-capacity battery charger and a shedload of batteries...

Cheers all! I'm now working on a design involving the g/f, a couple of the cats and a huge hamster wheel....

Some generators have 12v output but not that high.... have a look at some of the booster battery chargers.. see if they can supply as well...
