Hi folks
I'm looking at replacing some 6x9 speakers for the same size but was wondering what would be a good upgrade?
I can't afford sill prices I'm afraid but would like something decent that packs a punch. Will be running through an amp at 2800w total.
Also what's better, 2 way or 3 way? And I also have a sub running through the amp.
Ta muchly

The Vibe Black Air series is good stuff. Better for Dance and some bass heavy music.
The space series by Vibe is even better for a wider range, but does cost a lot more

The amp I have is a Auna 2800w 4 channel. Can anyone tell me if the Auna speakers are any good? I'm looking at some on-line atm but unsure if they would be up to the job. They don't sound too bad (in the wording).

I'll give you the same answer I always give:
Forget recommendations, Speakers and the sound they make are very personal, what sounds good to you may sound awful to me.
Get y'self to somewhere with a decent interactive display and conduct a blind test to see what you like, not what someone else likes.
I did just that and ended up with Sony, front and rear. I still love them.

Alcazar. I went to good ole Halfords today and had a listen at 3 they had wired up. The best was Vibe Slick and the worse was Edge. They had a pair of Fli but they didn't sound that good. They also had a set of Vibe Black Air but they weren't working
TECHNOPUG. I don't know how its set up tbh. It was already set up in the limo when I bought it. And as far as I'm aware its the 2 rear 6x9's in parcel shelf and 1 sub behind drivers seat. Where the driver seat is its a separate system with 2 door speakers from another head unit. That's all I can tell you I'm afraid

The amp quoted 2800W is just marketing nonsense. It produces 380W RMS, so 4x95W. So any speakers you get should be fine, providing you don't wind the gain up and play at a sensible volume. As it has a sub, I guess 2 channels are bridged to play 190W to the sub and the other pair @ 95W to the 6x9s.
Will be plenty to drive the speakers. Personally, I'd ditch the 6x9s an upgrade the front speakers and let the amp drive those. But difficult to say without knowing the car.
