*** INTERCOOLER GUARD 02-05 ***
Whilst trawling the net looking for info on an intercooler guard I stumbled upon this american site that looks quite interesting.WRXtra.com | Catalog
If I was to email them to ask about a GB would there be much interest from fellow s'netters?
I'll email them tonight and update once they've replied but in the meantime I'll start a list of possible buyers:

My emailed enquiry was returned with the following info:
single guard normal price $24.95 = £12.50 approx
10-20 guards @ $21.95 = £11.00 approx
20+ guards @ $19.95 = £10.00 approx
They have also said that they'll make these for earlier impreza'a if I can supply measurements etc, thus making this an attractive offer to classic owners too.
I've yet to get freight costs but will advise.
Surely this must be of interest to someone................?

Intercooler guards
May be interested in this if they do it for the STI 8 intercooler. What sort of shipping charges were they quoting.

Don't do it! These things reduce the air flow through the intercooler too much..... you know what happens then - charge temps increase, possibility of det, blown engine 
Just spend a bit of time straightening out the bent fins on the intercooler with a cocktail stick from time to time. I had my scoob for quite a few years now and that's all it's needed. It's quite well protected already underneath the scoop.
