2 pot rear brake conversion brackets
Due to the badgering I get through PM and email I have relented and started another GB for these brackets
How would you like your classic to have these brakes on the rear?
Using these.
Easy DIY fitting with full instructions (see Link below)
I need 6 people to make it worthwhile doing a run, but I'm sure if we get more it won't be a problem.
All those that have expressed an interest in these over the last few months will have a PM shortly.
These brackets allow you to fit the New age (MY01>) WRX 2 pot rear calipers and discs to any Impreza/Legacy currently fitted with single piston sliding rear calipers.
All you need are the Calipers, discs and pad from a MY01-05 WRX (Not STI or Classic JDMs as the discs are different, though the calipers can be used) and this bracket kit.
The kit will contain a pair of brackets and mounting bolts.
No special tools are needed to fit so no drilling or tapping of threads. They are a direct bolt on!!
Fitting instructions with pics here: http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=428646
I ran the calipers on my car at Scooby Shoot Out last year and they have had some hard use in the 25k miles since and they still look as good as the day I fitted them.
You will be impressed with the quality of the machining and when anodised look very professional. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a bit of a perfectionist, but the finish of these blew me away
This is the simplest way to upgrade your rear brakes to 2 pots. If you have a jack, a socket set and a little know how this is a doddle
The brackets will be hard anodised grey (sort of anthracite colour).
The bracket kit works out at £160 all in. (that includes anodising, mounting bolts and Postage)
Lead time is usually 4 weeks (TBC)
Get in before the rush
Iain.

Steve,
I actually made a loss on the last GB (only a couple of quid though).
The price of the mounting bolts had gone up since last time
If you really want a set in bare Ali I can do it for £150
But I would recommend getting them anodised
Hard anodising is much better than the colours I did for the first GB and looks less tarty

I have spoken to the Machine shop and they are waiting for me to give them final numbers, I'm waiting for 2 guys to let me know if they are in before I say GO!
I was also speaking to a mate over the weekend that recomended somewhere else to get them made.
I have a spare bracket so I dropped that off today for a quote.
Hopefully they can do it cheaper If not the original machine shop are on standby

Payment received thanks
I have had a call from the MAchine shop and the brackets are done!!!!
They had a slack Friday so did them then (Really wasn't expecting them to be done this quick!!)
I know need to pay for the machining before I can send them off for anodising and order the mounting bolts.
So those that haven't sent payment.... Do it ASAP
