An alarm fault, or a sticky relay.
The indicator relay is high up under the dash, driver's side. You can FEEL it, or see it, but not usually both at once.
I removed mine (98 car) by setting the indicators going, and feeling which relay was ticking. Then I switched off and pulled it free.

its one of the relays of the sigma m30 alarm not the actual indicator relay
they all burn out eventually
fuel pump
indicator
starter
in that order. the sticking indicator is it starting to fail eventually it will fail altogether and either the flashers wont work on arm/disarm or they will stick on permanently!
the alarm relays cannot be replaced, nor can flashers be disabled as part of the alarm functions via manual. you can however bypass teh relay just by bridging it - this is what generally happens with the fuel pump relay, and what then can be done with the flasher unit which will leave you with siren & starter
alternatively just arm/disarm numerous times & eventually it will go off but it gets a bit annoying and youll get a few weird looks from people
