Default No Boost

During the storm the other night I think the alarm was set off as the battery was dead in the morning. Siren is off as it's a poo cheap alarm.
Anyway, poodled to work, then took a longer drive home to get the temps up and then took the rev's above 3k. The turbo is usually starting to spool at this point, but nothing, and the boost gauge stayed flat at 0. It registers negative boost though. Even at very low revs I can usually hear the faint sound of the recirc working, but not now.
Before the battery died I have had the turbo spooling, not massively as I'm still running in. So I can't see it being a turbo problem.

Any idea's?

check for codes by connecting the black connectors under the dash if you are not running an aftermarket ecu.

There's no ECL lights at all at the moment.

Would this cause the turbo not to spool at all?

try putting the actuator to manifold. see if it boosts to actuator pressure. if it does then possibly a solenoid issue...

Or just simply put a pipe from the turbo straight to the wastegate

Sorry I'm a bit dim, could you explain what you mean?

I've not had the chance to use/check the car until today due to the weather causing an issue with the alarm.
I've today reconnected the battery and reset the ECU using the black and green connectors under the dash, then drove the car until I got the repeated "everythings ok" CEL light. Then disconnected the connectors and drove it without any CEL lights coming on.
I've swapped around the recirc and checked all boost pipes and checked the connections of the solenoid etc but cannot find anything.

Still I have nothing, at low revs, full throttle the gauge goes to dead 0 and sits. Once it was warm I took it to 4k and it was flat, still boosting 0. So I've taken pics of everything, excuse the cheapy white pipe I needed a bit at the time and had this laying around in the shed lol.

Mines exactly the same my gauge reads -0.7 on idle and then goes no higher than 0.4 at about 4k revs then actually decreases back towards zero as you get higher into the revs ?

Is cleaning the solenoid an idea ? What about the drilling out to 3mm mid people have mentioned ? Any good ?

Panicking my turbo has had it

Is there any how to's with cleaning solenoid or bypassing it to test turbo is ok ?

No Mick, it's not spooling. Before this alarm/battery problem the recirc was "recircing" and I've a few times, once warmed, opened it up a little. From 3-4k now it feels like an N/A car .
Maybe I need to spray the solenoid through with brake cleaner? I would have thought I would have had a CEL light.

I think the turbo may have had it, which isn't a massive thing as long as I find out its that before anything else goes wrong. I saw a TD04 for £40 the other day. The car needs mapping, but I've no confidence driving it long distances.

I've sorted the oil leak, water leak, cracked alloy, spongey brakes, power steering lol. Stumped with this though.

Not suggesting it's the cure as sounds like the turbos gone but that nick in the black cable (right) needs heat shrinking , the heat from engine may cause it to breakdown the operation of the solonoid !
