Default Not starting advice

Recently swapped my engine from my sti for a wrx ra cdb lump while I build the sti engine. Got the new engine to start, but was a bit grumpy, missing, back firing, cutting out on idle etc. Went to start it the following morning and nothing, the odd fire every so often bit nothing, just turns over, it's getting fuel and it's sparking. It's not throwing any codes, although I will try the self test later. Was thinking crank sensor? Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

James

Yeah.. Was running spot on before it was removed. That's whats making me think the cam and or crank sensor as I put the ones out of my original engine in it. I read that Subaru changed the sensors from 94 so thinking the sensors might be wrong if u get me

Sounds to me like you answered your own question, at least that's what I was going to say then saw it in your OP.

So you reckon change the both sensors? The cam sensor does have a few scrapes and marks on the face of it mind... The only difference between the sensors is they have different connections.. So will have to change that.. But they are the original ones out of that engine..

Thanks
