As title, car has developed a weird noise at the front when slowly turning in on full or nearly full lock - it's not a bearing or the usual diff unwinding - heard both those before, so I'm wondering if it's a problem with a driveshaft or the diff itself.
Makes the noise if the car is stationary or moving slowly, in some circumstances accompanied by a very light judder, but it's not loud.

It's most noticeable when I stop and then turn full lock left to reverse into my parking space in the evening.

Car is a 2005 blob STI with DCCD.
Had a gearbox and diff oil change earlier in the year and has been fine - it's only in the last month or so I've noticed this so need to take it in, but was interested to hear if anyone else has had it.

Nobody responded, and my local specialist wasn't sure what the issue was either so took it to Bulldog Subaru in Twyford for a checkup.
After fixing a new problem with the alarm ( ), they finally identified the issue as being that the rear hub nut had come loose, which is apparently relatively common on the later widetrack models.

Tightened up and not a problem since; bizarre given the problem was apparently coming from the front but it's definitely solved the issue
