Default MY99 What injectors should i go for

MY 99 UK turbo

FMIC, VF29, SIMTEK, DECAT, WALBRO, K+N, 450cc yellow injectors

Was mapped 3 years ago by a forrest now needing done again

question is I want to put bigger injectors on it what size should I got for, do they have to match the existing mods or can I put say 1600cc

1600's will be waaaaaaay to big, im running 720's to get 400/420 on amy 2.5 hawk. you may find the current injectors will flow plenty and its your turbo that runs out of go

during mapping andy said it was using all fuel available

ah right, 550's should be fine then, are you running an upraited fuel pressure reg?

no just standard fpr, should I get an uprated fpr

best bet is ask andy, he should be able to advise on injector size as well, you wont be far off what you need though, fpr will help with fueling as well though by the way

asking andy isn't easy as takes ages to reply

im thinking about a bigger turbo 20g kingawa they get a good write up in the states and made by same company that makes ihi turbos £500 brand new with a fitting kit

also 550cc injectors with a uprated adjustable FPR

The uprated FPR on 440's will give you more fuel but the injectors will still have to work hard. If you fit an uprated FPR on the 440's, fit bigger injectors or both injectors and FPR, the injector scaling on the map will need changed to suit.

Even if you empty the ashtrays it will need a remap due to the difference in weight according to some on here
