What aren't you sure about? The Focus running plenty of power, with less drivetrain losses, and given a rolling start, yep, it will leave a Scoob.

Totally agree with you i had a mk2 st running nearly 300 bhp and it was quick

Those straight 5 are quick...
Like all FWD with power, the trick is getting traction to put the power down...

Put a 'Stage 3' tune on the scooby and see what happens then.
Typical nonsense *****-waving. Comparing a FWD to AWD is like saying apples are better than oranges. It's just an opinion.

Actually, what is a "Stage 3" anyways?
Because in some cars, it is defined as having an intake, exhaust, and a remap.

Gone are the days where to go fast, you need to rebuild half the car...
