Default limp mode? ebay mafs?

hi my car (98 turbo 2000) has been in limp mode since ive had it only boosting to 6-7 psi and using loads of fuel, i only just realised thought it just had the boost turned down for some reason. i think it could be the maf as it has an aftermarket cone filter with no make written on it which was hella dirty. ive cleaned it up now just need to try replacing the maf, ive found some 'direct replacement' sensors on ebay does anyone know if there any good, they look to be the same sensor but from different sellers at different prices?

i just tried plugging in the two black connectors for fault test and its come up with 24 and 32 which is 24 Idle Control System Malfunction
24 ISC Valve (Stick)
24 Open/Short in ISC Valve Circuit
32 o2 sensor
the o2 sensor is not plugged in could this be the cause of it? the two wires are tied up and i dont know where they go it has a turbo back exhaust on it and there is also a small leak where the turbo meets the exhaust. should i try resetting the ecu?
