Start with a hair dryer before heat gun.

STAY WELL CLEAR OF HEAT GUN!!!!!!

will be too hot and prob bubble your paint unless your very very carefull. Hair dryer on low heat will be enough. just heat gently and then peal away with your nail/fingers.

Funny how i removed decals of a whole truck and never bubbled any paint, you need to soften the glue heat gun has different temp settings etc much better

Hair dryer works on decals, wouldn't use a heat gun unless you know what yours doing as it can damage the paint ( can be done) , use some tardis to clean away any "glue" wipe with a clean micro fibre.
