I had problems with GG. Went to get a recon turbo supplied and fitted. I paid, drove her home and it didn't sound right. So next day took it RCM and they said that the downpipe was cracked, nuts and bolts where missing off the turbo and it apparently had an oil change which upon closer inspection it was dark black and gloopy lol. So from my experience I would recommend them and that is solely my opinion.

Thanks for the responses i will be doing the repair myself so it was mainly a question on the quality of their products, cheers for the feedback, ian.

Shocked to hear that bob! GGR usually have a very good rep.

as for the parts, GGR wont actually manufacture the parts but they dont usually sell rubbish quality stuff.

but i have never bought or fitted a belt kit from them, but have had other stuff

I would be asking what belt they use in the kit before i did anything, true their rep is quite good but if the belt wasnt a Gates manufactured timing belt then i wouldnt touch it with a barge pole..SIMPLES.
