Default coughing spluttering missfire smell of petrol

Im hoping someone can once again shed some light on my latest issue??
my subaru my98 uk has developed a slight misfire on tick over and a bad misfire/hesistation under boost with a strong smell of petrol from the exhaust?
I have just replaced the plugs thinking it was this with a set of plugs that have 4 electrodes rather then a single but this has made no difference?the car had a induction kit fitted when i purchased it last week but i have put the original airbox back on with a k n panel filter which was washed and dried then kn oil sprayed onto it.The missfire and hesitation is getting worse under load,If i drive the car with no boost it does not miss??

This missfire/hesitation problem has got slightly worse everyday for the past week. The smell of fuel from the exhaust is quite strong?no smoke from exhaust.2 of the ht leads on 3 and 4 (right bank as you look at engine are chaffed where they push into the little holders but no sparks coming from them?(checked this in the dark)

Ok i will get a replacement and see what happens,i just took off the maff and sprayed it with some electrical cleaner and found a 90% improvement, this was from cold so i cannot rule out the coil breaking down when it gets hot??>thanks for your reply.

the oil from your filter had got on the hot wire of the maf, causing a false reading. don't oil the filter next time lol
