Question Idle rpm?

What should a standard blob eye wrx be idling at? I swear mine has lowered, but only had the car a month, and never really noticed it till this week?

I have a WRX PPP and it idles at 500 rpm when warm. Most of my previous cars idled around 800rpm - assume that maybe it's because it's a boxer engine??

If you guys are looking at the mark centre ish between 0 & 1000rpm. Thats not a 500rpm marker. Thats an idle marker. On a laptop thats around 750/800rpm

Turbotits is right, it's 750rpm. Though in fairness you would expect midpoint between 0-1000 to be 500!

I think the long mark; the first one on the gauge signifies 0rpm. The next mark up is 500 rpm. Each mark signifies 100rpm.

could be wrong though. I thought mine idled at 500rpm ish then plug in data logger to see it actually idles at 750-790 ish.
