Alright folks,

Looking to fit a roof vent to the track car so I can throw away the heating etc.

Problem is- I have seen a few fitting guides and it looks to me that the fittings for the vent mechanism fit to the part shown in the below picture??

We ripped this piece off when fitting the roll cage!!

Can anyone confirm this and/or reccomend somewhere that I can pick one of these pieces up?

I am thinking I can find a way to attach this without any welding- something I will look into as it was only a couple of small spot welds and sealant/tiger seal stuff that held it on in the first place?

Any advice or words much appreciated!

That part seems to be removed and a new bracket added.

However this is for a newage, classics may be different. Try contacting Frayz

pm frayz, i watched him fit mine and the bracket that holds the interior light in on newages has to be removed and replaced with the bracket for the roof vent

Ok, I see - so this is the bracket I need:

Where can I source one of these and how can I fix it to the roof without spot welding? Would Tiger Seal be up to the job?

^^^ that is EXACTLY the situation I am in....I have all the same kit minus the blue piece in his guide.

Does anyone have any idea where to find one of those?
