Ok boys and girls.

Engine swap begins tomorrow, my car is a 1995 uk 2000 turbo.

Im installing a uk 2000 turbo engine from a 1998.

What differences, if any, are there?

The 1998 engine has no inlet manifold so i'll be using the inlet manifold from the 1995 engine. Are these interchangeable without issue?

Appreciate all the help, already got some good advice from this site. I've got a guide for the engine pull just wanna ensure it all goes smoothly.

95 manifold will bolt up no problems, make sure you use new gaskets. As you are using your old manifold then you shouldnt run into any loom problems. Might have some issues with getting the coil packs to fit as the 98 uses a single one and HT leads to the plugs but it been done lots.

Hello mate

Little update. Engine was out in 3hrs picked the new engine up last night so ill start swapping all bits over today.

Aiming yo have it back in Saturday all going well!
