I read about this on another thread on here,I have a 51 plate bugeye WRX, its a UK spec but was a parallel import supplied by a dealer in Belguim & although I haven't had any signs of the problem I gave Phil Camwell a call last week to see if my car would be covered.
I had to send him a scan of the first page of my service booklet (the page with the suppling dealer's details etc) & on Monday I got an email back from him saying my car was covered & to get it booked in at my local Subaru dealer.
I've got them coming to collect the car on Thursday morning & they are going to deliver it back to me when the work has been done.
Result!
Subaru UK are on 01217474000
Just ask to speak to Phil & explain the problem to him.

I had a petrol smell the other day , had it on and off for a week or so , turned out to be a leaking fuel gauge that was fitted along with the sytec FPR , apparently these are prone to leaking and its very common .....only smelt it when ticking over with the heating on , so took off and will use gauge for future set up of fuel pressure...

I have just started to notice this on my blob wagon. I have checked the rubber hoses for any signs of cracking, etc but can't see anything obvious? Have also checked injectors, fuel rails, fuel pipes etc. I'm at a bit of a loss with it. Will i see a fuel leak or is it just fumes?
