how much psi???

Default how much psi???

evenin all

im picking up my uk 300 on thursday and its running a ecu tec ecu
with an onboard monitor....at the mo the current owner has it running at 14psi..
its got a 2.5 engine in it is this a good psi or can i go higher??

im new to the scooby, my only other turbo d car was a volvo 850r which was running between 18 -21 psi

You cant just increase the boost, it needs mapping and setting up to run the higher boost

If it has a 2.5 litre engine has it been mapped for that?

apparently

its running 314bhp at the mo...

its got the ecu tec onboard so i can run 2 maps but at the mo its only running the one

what turbo has been fitted then? the standard td04 turbo wont do 314bhp.

Ecutek on that year of car can run two boost levels but only one map.

14psi is low to map a vf34 to.

Is it on standard injectors?

you can have it remapped to run higher boost if supporting mods allow yes

with uprated clutch and flywheel ( dont know the makes yet tho)

sounds like you need to get it checked over to see what its got, advise from there and then remap once any parts required are fitted.
