not sure if the classic is the same as newage but did you replace the rubber gasket too??

sounds like its either faulty or an air leak.

take it for a drive and get it warmed up properly and see if its any better

Yea I replaced that Aswell. When it starts it's spot on 1000rpm and then slowly increases.

Sounds like you got a leak, have you tried adjusting the icv?

If its idling at 1300 from a cold start its fine but it should`nt be up there when its up to temp, Tap the accelerator to see if it drops, If not more than likely an air leak.

It's still staying at 1300 when up to temp, where is it most common to have a air leak?

Did you replace it with a new item?

No 2nd part from one of the breakers on here. I also give it a quick clean how easy should the end move on the icv.

Keep your eye on it as the problem could reappear (could not) - I had an old 5 pot bravo that used to do the same with the ICV. Hopefully you have fixed it though!
