Default Mods advice

Hi guys bought myself a 2004 impreza wrx sti type uk with prodrive pack.
The car is a little quiet for my liking.
I'd like it to have the classic loud burbling scooby note.
I would like to fit an exhaust, induction kit and blow off/dump valve.
What are ur experiences(what works/doesn't and any associated problems) and what do u recommend?
Cheers

Exhaust is a easily fix but get a quality one that will increase performance, Wouldnt worry with a induction kit unless you are mapping the car or going for massive power. A decent panel filter will work a treat, Blow off is a marmite mod, I have one on mine and I like it, most call them chavy. I agree on that for most cars Apart impreza

Don't bother with the bov or induction kit unless your planning big power. K&N element, with regards to the exhaust it depends on how loud you want it. your best to have the car remapped if your going to fit the exhaust.

If you've got a PPP... firstly you could just change out the OE centre resonated section for a a H&S straight though. This should see you release the Impreza boxer rumble.
This will be a cheap upgrade & if you want more db, you could put a free flow back box on! Nur Spec S etc..!

I have a forge one, it doesn't blow all the time, must have a fairly stiff spring. It's best to collect all your bits, research them and buy the best. Get them fitted and mapped at the same time. If you want a beast you will need a 3" turbo back system.

Hi there

Personally wouldn't fit any induction kit, just fit nice panel filter such as Green cotton panel filter or K&N

Dump valve you don't need, save money on other mods such as Walbro Fuel pump(HRC fuel pump working,we are run this at 490bhp)

Exhaust, just would suggest fit decatted downpipe(in your case 2.5") and decatted Up pipe(from STi working well and is cheap),3" exhaust you don't need at your level and really with 3" you can loose torque and mainly 3" would say you will need above 350bhp
