Default Impossible engine fail

Well,I was driving my car(its 400km after rebuild) and on the next night I tried to start it and nothing - the starter won't spin.We tried pushing the car on all gears and it's doesnt want to rotate the engine. It it possible that the enine somehow failed when the car was not working ? I was driving it hard the other day(hard break-in method),but 2 hours after the hard driving I was driving slow and the engine showed no symptoms/worked perfectly fine...I parked the car and everything was okay. Now it wont move - 4 people were pushing me,I was trying to start it in 2nd gear(I thought the starter motor was stuck),then in 5th gear but nothing - the car just stops.

Are the wheels skidding? Has the engine seized?

Dosnt sound inspiring

No,I cant reach such speed by pushing so the wheels can skid, but when I let off the clutch the car stops instantly.Maybe the engine realy seized. But how can this happen when it's turned off ? And nearly one hour before that the car was driven slow.

About the hard break-in:

Have you even checked the oil level yet?

I would say the engine has seized.

Yes,I checked it,it is okay.I'm 300km from home so I have no tools to check if the crank can spin.
I still don't understand how can it seize when the car is turned off,and not being run hard for 1 or 2 hours before...

Tell us about your push start- clutch pressed down, Ignition on.. built up speed till running pace then dip clutch? The car was coasting well in neutral? If you take a spanner/socket and put it on crankshaft bolt and turn it clockwise there will be resistance but should turn? (take out spark plugs all the better) What is your oil level/Condition? worth to remove starter and bench test

Oil level - full
Yes,the car was going well on neutral, when I dump the clutch it just stops (and there were 4 people pushing it).
I'm going to ask somebody for a spanner/socket to see if the crankshaft is rotating.
Oil is on 400km,10w40 (for the break-in).I havent even revved to the red line.

I think you may have taken the hard break in procedure to a new extreme, hard brake in is a little bit of boost by on and off throttle and with a bit of load like up a hill, plenty of gear changes, bit of engine braking etc etc.....Not reving the **** out of it.

I was not revving the ... out of it - I took it only to 4k rpms five or six times then drove to home below 2500rpm and on vacuum.Hard break-in doesn't mean revving. It means more engine load
This is extremely strange.

I'd suggest that you don't try any of the above advice.
Sounds to me like it's very possible that you've lost the retaining clip and the gudgeon pin has popped out into the installation hole locking the engine solid.
Seen it before, not on an engine we've built I hasten to add.
The last one drove to us, had a cat installed for an MOT, went for MOT, passed, cam back removed cat and drove the car to the carpark outside our building.
Customer came to collect it and it wouldn't start ?????? all round, lol.
Stripped the engine which had been built only weeks before and found exactly what I described.

Thank God.I won't try to rotate the crankshaft wheel then,I don't want to break something.
Thanks everyone,for your help.
P.S. If you guys have time, could you check my other topic,it's in General Technical too, these problems are before the rebuild and since then I cant get the car running good

As MartynJ said above in the post or a leaking injector filling a cylinder up over night and causing a Hydrostatic lock.

I'd pop the plugs out and try to hand crank it. If still locked then it's engine out I'm afraid.

I had this same problem a few years ago on a BMW, turned out to be a cracked head. Parked the car up ran fine then wouldn't turn over when cold until plugs were removed. The crack must have opened up on the hot engine then after filling the cylinder with water closed up when cooled down causing it to hydraulic. Needed a new head which was a bit pricey.

I don't think trying to turn the crank with a spanner is in the same league as it being pushed by four guys then dropping the clutch!
