my mpg real bad
my scoob is a w.e car so normally stick 30 quid in i get around 110 km i just worked that out thats lik 14 odd mpg ahhhhh.I havent even given her any stick this this week.Is this normal for you lot?
type r running 380 bhp

My classic is doing 25-30mpg, ususally the higher end.mainy A and B roads, Leaky injectors maybe?

Sounds like a broken lambda to me. What ecu do you run?

Shame it's not a power fc because you can check the lambda voltage on the commander and you can also turn it off. That's what my money is on

Pretty normal to me mate. Just bumming around i get similar 14 or 15. Have had 25 on a long run and down as low as 6 on track.

Short journeys are bad on fuel! Surely if you had a lambda fault it wouldn't be running right performance wise?

Short journeys do make it worse so you are right there
Mine is running 420bhp and I average low to mid 20's to the gallon.
A broken lambda doesn't seem to affect performance, I only noticed was gone after noticing a big drop in MPG.

Same for me,replaced lambda and it's much better on fuel .........

i get 46 miles to £40 of momentum and thats around town but managed 300 on a tank on a run the other day

10-ish gallons a week of momentum sees me get anywhere between 260 and 280 miles on the runs to work and back
It's worth getting a decent lambda Rob - personally I'd spend a bit more on a new one, and the prices have come right down in the last couple of years. The newage one used to be £350 from subaru but can now be had for less than a ton - try here...
