A bit of advice needed please got a chance of a blitz back box from a classic , i know to go onto a newage the hangers need to be relocated but will the backbox sit nicely at the rear bumper or will it be shy or protude way out into the wilderness beyond the rear bumper, thanks for any replies. Car is a bugeye

Will fit and sit exactly as it does on a classic. One hanger is the other way round. Most just cut it off and do without it

Is it just a back box designed to fit the std system or is it from a complete system?

I've got a classic nur spec system sittting in my shed,it won't fit my 01 bug eye unless I fit a classic down pipe & decat,the bug eye down pipe & cat are around 4 inches longer than a classic so when I fitted the system nothing lined up,the whole thing was around 4 inches further back than it should have been.

I put the std centre pipe back on to see if just the back box would fit but had the same problem & also the 3" flange on the nur spec back box is too big to fit the std flange.

so will a cat back classic nur spec r fit on newage bug???? mixed results?

You need to change the whole system turbo back. As said classic and newage downpipes are a different length so the cat back systems are different too.

if its a jdm gc8 to a jdm GDB it will straight bolt on aside from switching hanger on the rear end near the rear diff
