Default head light washer

head light washer on my 99 plate not working checked fueses been told it could be the pump on bottom off the washer bottle ???

It could be the pump on the bottom of the washer bottle

sry yeah is there a seperate pump for the head light washer, as my screen washer still working fine ? so i take it theres two pumps ?

Yeah 2 pumps mate, check the wiring first, my headlight washers packed in but turned out that the wiring to the pump was corroded, sorted the wiring out and all worked again

If it's not that, take the pump off and rinse it thoroughly BACKWARDS in very hot water.

The pumps are rubbish.
Eventually the seals leak and the water gets into the motor and they seize up.
Tends to happen if you don't use them very often.

Mine was the same, take pump out and remove motor. Remove cap and Rotate spindle on motor with pliers and lubricate with wd40 and it should now work!
The motor seizes due to lack of use!
