wont be lambda sensor as they are not used during a cold start.
have you tried some fresh fuel ? could be old fuel if the car sat around for a while.
how old are the spark plugs and wires ?

Give it a good long run out.
1. use up the fuel in the tank then fill up and run half tank through.
2. Give the battery a good charge, drive with some electrics on.
Don't drive it hard with possible suspect fuel, could be worth putting a shot of octane booster in to pep the old fuel up a bit.
My bugeye is poor to start after it has sat for a week or more. Near two weeks and I have to either jump start it or put the battery on charge the night before.

Give the battery a good charge. Check the voltage whilst on charge 14 to 14.5 volts is usual if the voltage is higher then battery is suspect. Leave the battery off charge for a couple of hours the voltage should be about 12.5 volts maybe a slight +/-. With the battery on the car have someone start it whilst you monitor the voltage if it drops below 9 volts then the battrey is likely to be knackered.
