Question Missfire at low revs

As above occasionally when I'm pulling away from say 2000rpm to say 5-6000rpm the car jerks just as it comes on boost and then is ok. The cars a v5 sti type r running a simtek.

I've just had the same issue mate.tried a syvecs ecu and it's not missed and it's been in 6 weeks.with the simtek in it missed for 10 months

Seems a bit drastic swapping the ecu The car drives brilliant 90% of the time

No drastic in my case mate.bought car with no misfire.put simtek in.missed for ten months on an off.took it out and no misfire.yours may well be different mate

check your spark plugs might be running little rich on cold start or up pipe leak and made the plugs soot up,had similar problem few years ago with simtek fitted,clean plugs up and see if it stops

Cheers guys it going in for a service in a couple of weeks so I might as well get some new plugs and see what it like after that. if not I'll have a word with Duncan
about it.

Gimme a shout on the mobile and if the plugs dont sort it, I am sure we can resolve
