I know there are other unbranded alternatives. But ebay is probably where you will find it cheapest.

i think theres sfs, basically samco copies, you`ll have to measure the pipes and look on ebay or their site

Oops sorry mate. I misread your post. I read it as you were looking for a Samco... AND a VF28 - hence my reply.

I see you've, quite correctly, ignored my tripe lol.

The Samco turbo intake hose can be gotten from Lateral Performance or Roger Clark Motorsport. But it'll be well over £200!

Viper Performance ones, like the Samco, have the multiple ply and the reinforced steel bands - but they are cheaper (c.£165 IIRC). API Dave gave these the thumbs up i.e. they shouldn't collapse.

You want the std 56/57mm (2.25") diameter version (which will fit the VF28 entry).

Have you checked the classifieds on here - you just might get lucky...

Yeah sure.

But whilst 'you're in there', just check the turbo pipe and all it's attached pipes for overall condition - 'cause at 11+ years old, some may have gone brittle/got cracks in. Same goes for the IC Y-pipe!

Don't mean to teach you to suck eggs, but you will be remapping this new VF28 on EcuTek (or Simtek or other), won't you?!

If you're also decatted, Walbro, new plugs, etc., then when remapped, you'll go from 211bhp to c.310-330bhp!!!

If you're competent and confident, then go for it.

If not, then I wouldn't risk doing any DIY on the fuel system (that said, a fuel pump is easy to fit).
