Default Having engine trouble

my engine is pouring blue smoke out the exhaust and losing oil at a very rapid rate, i have had new head gaskets put in and heads skimmed and have only done about 50 miles when this problem started, i thought it was maybee the turbo but i put another one on but no change......any ideas????

Personally if its burning that much oil that its visible and you've allready changed the turbo it could be piston related. Drop the plugs out and do a compression test before you do anything else, That will give an indication if it's a piston or ring problem.

how many miles had the bottom end covered prior to the headgaskets being replaced ?

deff piston rings.

I broke one like that. Guy bought a turbo from me thinking it was knackered, fitted, no change.

I bought it and stripped it. Sides on the piston were missing. It was almost square and had scored the bore something rotten

Strange as the car Im talking about also came from Shetland?

Have you been running the car on normal UL? Or get the injectors flow tested.

Have you been running mods on the car without getting it mapped?
