I'd personally get it rebuilt rather than rely on an unknown second hand engine.....loads of places on here but API tend to get quite a few mentions. And I think they do a fixed fee rebuild and have a flatbed.

Rebuild it. You could get a second hand unit and it only last a couple of months or a year its the luck of the draw I'm affraid.

Shaun... When are you collecting this bumper thats been loitering in my workshop for quite a while ??

Shaun

PS Sorry Rob, I didn't think you would notice being on the reception desk LOL I'll get laura to pick it up and leave some oil on your forecourt. The car is still running sweet by the way and not a drop of lost boost

I've been on Scoobynet since about 2002 and Len at Subaru4you has quietly gone about his business looking after a lot of people without a lot of fuss or bother..... I can't think of any threads where people have posted problems and because it's a "word-of-mouth thing" it's all quite low key.

My impression would be that it would be an ideal place to contact regarding a rebuild given it's so close

I'm sure a scoobynet / Google search would agree or look at the local scooby group for advice
