Classic top rad hose internal diameter?
Don't suppose one of you lovely chaps knows this do you? When weather's better me and Alcazar are fitting some gauges into the Scoob, water temp being one of them. Gonna put the sender in the top rad hose but without taking it off and it spewing coolant everywhere, wondered what the internal diameter is for the metal pipe required for said sender.
This is the info off www.autodials.co.uk, 3 to pick from...
Water temperature pipe
Price £12 inc vat
I happen to have a 1" red one knocking about but it looks to thin.
EDIT: DUH, car's a my99 UK turbo wagon
TIA

Andy: the above post confirms what I thought, I remember having to order one from Demon Tweeks, came the next day, but DO get a decent one WITH that earth fastening.
