Default Advice please (Cracked Piston)

Afternoon Guys and girls.
I have a 1995 import wrx which i have been using for track days while slowly trying to build for a race series.,,but on my last outing at cadwell my engine decided it didnt like the oil anymore so spat it all over the track, which resulted in a cracked piston

All im really after is some advice on what to do next.
The good option would be for a full rebuild but the cost of that just for something im thrashing around uk circuits seems to be a bit ott for me.

So would an STi engine fit in there by any chance and what turbo would i need to allow 400 bhp max.

Any help would be great

If your looking for 400 you need to go forged, and if you can do it yourself then it's around the same money as a decent sti lump, other option is jdm sti bottom end but again they fetch good money and as long as your block is ok then i would rebuild it as i think you may have a closed deck block, which will fetch £300 on its own, only problem with second hand engines is unless it's a known quantity your taking a chance but if you build it yourself then its zero miles and not as expensive as long as you dont try to get silly numbers.
