Default Whats the best engine Oil for a Bug??

Hi all
i am having my WRX Bug serviced next week and was wondering whats the best Oil to get ?

Too much depends on how you drive your car, what mods etc, but either a 10w40 semi synthetic or a 5w40 fully synthetic for moderate mods and power (example is that I would still run a 5w40 oil in a 360bhp scoob).

best is motul 300v fully synthetic 5w40, like golden syrup for your engine

As above, 5w-40 Gulf Competition or Silkolene Pro S, it's what I run in my standard Impreza Turbo and 370 bhp 200SX.

I just changed mine and put some of this in it. To be fair ours is completely stock with no mods and doesn't get driven hard (well ok occasionally) http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_165581 Cheap as chips at the mo as well

Slikolene is now branded as Fuchs /titan ........have a look at opie oils site and fill in the part about ........what oil to use. It will likely come up with a semi-synthetic

I use millers 10w40 in mine and 5w40 in the winter for extra protection
