Default ba misfire, help

need help, i have a 96 uk turbo and it has a few problems, it has a quite bad misfire that you can feel through the whole car, it is all the way through the rev range, its hard to start it turns over for ages then it eventualy starts with plenty gas, when it does start there is white smoke from the exhaust until car starts moving. it also is using way to much fuel i put £30 in and got 26 miles and it had ran bone dry i have changed fuel pump and filter and also 4 coils and plugs. i cant afford to throw any more money at the car, does it sound an easy fix or more serious engine damage
