Talking changing cam and crank sensors

i need to change the cam sensor on my wrx wagon but ive been told that i also need to change the crank sensor at the same time is this true? also where can i get these parts from and how much are they? any help always appreciated

Ive only changed the faulty parts in the past, the thinking could be that they are the same age so if one is starting to fail then the other may be soon to follow so saves looking for another issues soon.

Try import car parts, all genuine items just alot cheaper than subaru

a friend of a friend who put a reconditioned engine it its misfiring and isnt responding when pressing the accelaror so we linked the computer up and it came back saying the cam sensor so then we contacted subaru and they said if changing the cam sensor its best to change the crank sensor as well

Yeh to line there robbing pockets, i stopped using subaru for parts, there way over priced, can get genuine parts from import car parts, much much cheaper than the dealers, you will probably get the 2 sensors for the same price subaru sell the one for lol.

It will throw up crank and cam sensors for most things, it could be a coil pack if those are old you know?
